Is Better Business Bureau a Government Office?

Better Business Bureau is not a Government agency.

Better Business Bureau or “BBBis not a government agency, on the opposite it´s a private company that asserts, since its foundation, that they are a non profit organization.

In this case we have a nice example of what Mandela effect is.  If you have never heard about this phenomenon, just follow the previous link or the following one from the popular Blog  WIKIPEDIA, where the phenomenon is referred to as  “false memory” which explains why we use the phrase to open this topic about the BBB or Better Business Bureau and the fake issue about pertaining or being affiliated to a government program.

The BBB complaints Blog is addressed to Business Owners

BBB is not a government agency and is not affiliated to any government program

This BBB complaints Blog is clearly intended to help business owners realize the fact that BBB is not a government agency, and has never been part of any government program. Better Business Bureau and all its 110 branches are just private businesses as yours and ours.

It’s quite probable that your business is already affiliated to some of the BBB branches or maybe you´re about to join them but stop right now and get all the information you need for your protection and follow as many links as you can  that are available in this post. The links provided here have been collected from many sites so you are able to verify each or any of the assertions published here.

Go ahead and undertake your own investigation in Internet.

You have the right to go ahead and conduct a thoroughly research on Internet to gather all the information you need to corroborate the fact that your business “health” does not rely on what Better Business Bureau publish on its pages.

The Better Business Bureau publishes Business Grades even when there´s no complaints at all.

There´s many cases where BBB posts a business review and ADJUDGES a grade to companies that don’t even have a complaint anywhere.

Business owners receive a call from a BBB agent and are offered a grade improvement by joining the organization and, of course, by paying their annuity about $450.00 USD. This is clearly corruption!

Better Business Bureau is supposed to mediate between Business and customer to monitor and to assess how your business handles that complain and over the final result they might post a grade. If we are being clear enough,  the grade is adjudged to your business according to your performance to satisfy your customer´s needs.

BBB dispute and Resolution procedures explain by WIKIPEDIA

“The organization’s dispute resolution procedures are established by the Council of the Better Business Bureau, and implemented by local BBBs.  Disputes can be resolved through mediation; when appropriate, low- or no‑cost arbitration may also be offered and provided through the BBB. The BBB acts as a neutral party”.

The BBB Pay to Play Scandal

Better Business Bureau complaints and criticism by WIKIPEDIA

Citations from wikipedia about BBB:

“BBBs have been accused of unduly protecting companies.  Moreover, recent reports have suggested that Better Business Bureau refused to resolve complaints against companies if customers do not pay a $70 mediation fee”.

BBB is not a government agency and is not affiliated to any government program

“Additionally,  The BBB also publishes the complainant’s claim without any attempt at verification. The net result is that the Better Business Bureau can be used to launch anonymous attacks on businesses and the finally to offer them an “improvement” by joining the organization”. Do you think this is fair?

BBB is not a government agency and is not affiliated to any government program

Now you you realize the fact that BBB does not pertains to any branch of any government department you have a choice to join or not to join them if they call you anytime. It’s all on your own decision and it’s your right.

In case you are a business owner or a customer you might still look for another public source where you can read or post a review. We highly recommend to avoid BBB and Yelp since there´s been cases documented about reviews manipulation by latter as well.

The only respectable and proven source of genuine reviews.

The only respectable and proven source to get a genuine business review is the one your friend or your relatives can provide you. The rest of the Blogs: Rip off report, FTC, BBB, Yelp, Google, Scam advisor they are all easy and corruptible online media where anyone can disguise and posts a complaint  on your business just to cause harm.

Did you know that competitors usually posts fake  bad reviews against your business

Right! Competitors usually attempt to cause harm to your reputation as company by posting fake bad comments in open source blogs as Google my Business, Yelp, Manta, Rip off Report, Tugbbs and many more.

The fact is that Blogs´ moderators continually fail to filter the comments adequately. Their lack of training or assessment skills entails that fake comments are approved  and posted publicly for all people to read them.

Ist a fact that BBB has never been part of USA Government and this company has no authority to evaluate or grade other businesses. We all know BBB is corrupted.

I was called by a BBB (better Business Bureau) agent and he persuaded me to register my business with BBB and he told me that businesses that paid their dues could improve their grades rapidly.
I refused to pay and now my business appears with E grade. BBB is scam!
